Do Kids Need Chiropractic?

Chiropractic care is for kids too! Children respond very quickly to chiropractic care. And the sooner wellness care begins with children, the more benefit your kids can see from chiropractic.

Some of the many issues Chiropractic Solutions can help your infant or child with are:

  • Colic
  • Reflux
  • Bedwetting
  • Chronic ear infections
  • Allergies and sensitivities
  • Posture Correction
  • Common colds and illnesses
  • Faster healing and improved immunity
  • Breastfeeding issues
  • Torticollis
  • Rehabilitation

Gentle, Effective Adjustments

For children we offer adjustments that require very little pressure – in fact Dr. Spirollari will use only two fingers to adjust small children. Kids tend to not even feel the adjustment.

Care can be altered as necessary to meet the needs of each child. Often children are adjusted right on mom’s lap. And Dr. DaPonte and Dr. Spirollari are pros at gaining each child’s trust and keeping it throughout the doctor-patient relationship.

Maintenance vs. Injury Treatment

Like adults, care for children depends on their condition. For wellness and preventive care, they may need to visit us once a month or less. But if they’ve sustained an injury, we may see them twice a week for the first week and then once a week for follow-ups. Each case is different. But in any case, as healing continues visits become less frequent.

Kids want to get back to their active lifestyles as quickly as possible. They tend to actively participate in their healing because they don’t want to miss out on sports practice, playing outside, or anything! We work to get them back on their feet as soon as possible.
